Bindi Original Vineyard Pinot Noir

Bindi Original Vineyard Pinot Noir

Bindi Original Vineyard Pinot Noir shares an almost identical winemaking approach to the Block 5 Pinot Noir. The style epitomises the strength and authenticity of the organically farmed Original Vineyard and Bindi’s minimal-intervention winemaking philosophy. Maturation occurs in French barrels (25% new) over 15 to 17 months. This pinot noir has ethereal redcurrant and strawberry aromas, sweet and supple textural precision, and chiselled mineral length.

About Bindi

Located on Mount Gisborne's slopes in the Macedon Ranges, Bindi's vineyard, founded in 1988 by Bill and Michael Dhillon, spans 6 hectares. Their chardonnay and pinot noir vines thrive on gentle northern slopes at 500 metres elevation. Bindi's winemaking emphasises minimal intervention, crafting elegant wines that echo their devotion to terroir. The estate dedicates its wines to the late Professor Kostas Rind, whose wisdom profoundly influenced their winemaking journey.
