Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Françaises Blanc de Noirs, Champagne
Produced from ungrafted pre-phylloxera pinot noir vines in two tiny Aÿ parcels, this is among the rarest and most historically significant wines in all of Champagne. Fewer than 3,000 bottles are made in most vintages. The wine is a direct link to Champagne's pre-industrial past — vinified as a blanc de noirs with breathtaking precision and mineral intensity. Its scarcity and provenance place it in a category almost entirely its own.
