Delivery Information
At LANGTONS, all wine purchased and sold is stored securely in our state‑of‑the‑art, temperature‑controlled National Warehouse, located just outside Melbourne. This ensures your wine is maintained in optimal condition and shipped quickly and efficiently to your nominated address anywhere in Australia.
Delivery Requirements
All deliveries require a signature and proof of identity upon receipt. You must present valid identification to the driver.
If you choose the “Leave my order unattended” option at checkout, you authorise LANGTONS’ delivery partner to leave your package at the specified address without obtaining a signature.
Shipping Charges Within Australia
A flat shipping fee applies to all orders, as follows:

Payment for all items, including shipping, must be completed before dispatch. We aim to process and ship your order within two business days of payment, though during peak periods this may take longer. Once dispatched, delivery typically takes 2–10 business days Australia‑wide.
Delivery by Christmas cut-off dates
Orders placed before these dates, and not marked as Hold for Heat, will qualify for Delivery by Christmas.

Flexible Shipping and Storage Options for Auction Items
1. Auto shipping
Our Auto Ship feature allows your auction purchases to be processed automatically the next business day after the auction closes, ready for dispatch.
To enable this option, log in to your LANGTONS account, go to your Dashboard, select Manage Preferences, open the Auctions & Deliveries section, and toggle “Automatically ship my auction items” on or off.
2. Consolidate and save
We can consolidate all your auction winnings into one delivery every 30 days, with a single shipping fee per consolidated order.
The cycle begins on the date of your first auction purchase, and any additional purchases within the next 30 days will be included in the same shipment. You will be notified by email before dispatch, allowing you to adjust your order if needed.
If you prefer not to wait, you may log in at any time to request immediate shipping.
This option will be enabled for most new accounts by default;
To enable this option, log in to your LANGTONS account, go to your Dashboard, select Manage Preferences, open the Auctions & Deliveries section, and toggle “Automatically consolidate ...” on.
To disable Consolidated Shipping, please contact our Customer Experience Team.
3. Store your winnings
If your cellar is at capacity or you’re travelling, we can store your wine in our secure, temperature‑controlled facility for $0.40 per bottle per month.
Storage fees are charged on the 21st of each month for any auction‑purchased items that have not yet been shipped. An invoice will be issued, and payment will be processed using your default credit card.
To end storage and arrange shipment, simply log in to your account.
Please note: Storage charges apply only to items not scheduled for shipping via the cart/checkout. Orders already in progress are excluded from these fees.
VIC Delivery - Victorian Liquor Laws
- The order is delivered to the person who placed it.
- The person who placed the order is present at delivery.
- The recipient is at least 18 years old, with valid proof of age.

Delivery Guarantee
Our optional Delivery Guarantee covers the cost of breakages, damage, or loss during transit at a rate of 1.5% of the sale value.
Please note, this does not cover deliveries left unattended at your request, incorrect delivery details, or deliveries made in accordance with your specific instructions.
Warm Weather Shipping Service
During periods of extreme heat, we may delay shipping to protect your wine, unless you request otherwise. While we take every care to preserve quality, we cannot accept responsibility for heat damage sustained during transit.
