Cullen Wines Kevin John Chardonnay

Cullen Wines Kevin John Chardonnay

The classic Cullen Kevin John Chardonnay, named after founder Doctor Kevin Cullen, derives from 40-year-old vines grown through biodynamic viticulture. The wine is whole bunch pressed and fermented with wild yeast in barriques. Matured for 10 months in new (30%) and seasoned oak, the cellaring style is typified by intense notes of chamomile, yellow nectarine and grapefruit aromas, with a mid-palate redolent with creamed cashew, hazelnut and nougat. The finish is of a rapier-like intensity marked by dente grip and a long skein of maritime acidity.
