Vinified in headed-down open fermenters and completing fermentation in new (42%) and seasoned French oak, a further 18 months’ maturation allows the wine to develop intense blackcurrant and violet aromatic complexity, finely knit tannins, inky suppleness and integrated cedar and vanilla notes.
