Leeuwin Estate Art Series Cabernet Sauvignon
Leeuwin Estate Art Series Cabernet Sauvignon is made up of the Houghton clone and a touch of malbec. Batch vinification is followed by maturation in new (50%) French oak and one-year-old “chateau” barrels for up to 24 months. In classic southern Margaret River style, this wine is typified by blackcurrant, cassis and tobacco leaf aromas, underlying savoury, new oak and fine tannic detail.

About Leeuwin Estate
Founded in 1974 by Denis and Tricia Horgan with support from Robert Mondavi, Leeuwin Estate shines with the Art Series Chardonnay. Block 20’s ‘Gin-Gin’ clone, cooled by Southern Ocean winds, crafts complex berries. Their winemaking finesse focuses on pure fruit, notably in the enduring Art Series Chardonnay and robust cabernet sauvignon.
