Mount Pleasant Maurice O’Shea Shiraz
Maurice O’Shea Shiraz is made from exquisite old vine material. In a salute to the heritage of Mount Pleasant, the fruit is derived from the Old Hill Vineyard planted in 1880 and the 1921 Old Paddock, both established on heavy, rich, volcanic soils. The wine completes fermentation and is matured in new and seasoned large format French oak. Intense bramble, plum and mocha aromas, generous fruit sweetness, lacy tannins and balanced vanillin oak exemplify the style.
