An Evening with Château Angélus Melbourne

Join LANGTONS, in partnership with Château Angélus, for a once-in-a-lifetime tasting. A symbol of wine divinity from the Saint-Émilion appellation, Château Angélus sits in a natural amphitheatre of clay, limestone, gravel and sandy soils. Its legendary winemaking legacy has been nurtured by the de Bouard de Laforest family since 1782.

In an appearance rarely seen outside the family’s private cellar, you’ll witness an unbottling of the fabled Grand Vin Blanc. Produced in microscopic quantities, this presents a remarkably rare chance to taste the legendary white Bordeaux.

Joining the affair is a curation of Château Angélus Grand Cru, brought to you directly from the family's private cellar. This selection features the Carillon d’Angélus as well as four highly acclaimed vintages, including the standout 99-point rated 2018 and 2016 vintages, plus a special 100-point rated mystery wine.

Hosted by Bong Grelat-Tram, Export Director of Château Angélus, enjoy Champagne on arrival and a chef-matched five-course menu at Melbourne’s CIRCL.
