"Purple colour with lighter purple edges - vibrant. Classic aromatics of Ribena, cedary, dusty oak, licorice and a subtle, herbal leafiness - just lovely. It's ripe and balanced. The palate shows ripeness and poise. Blueberries and blackcurrants; tannins in check and acidity under-writing freshness. This is a sensational wine and exceptional value."

"Comes from a now mature vineyard in the northern part of Margaret River. This shows a vibrant brilliant colour from the first glance. The nose is all aromatic perfumed cherries and violet. The palate has a firm thread of tannin, but it is supple and smoothly integrated. Focused, long finish. A mighty tidy wine."

Estate-grown, 2.6t/acre, matured for 16 months in new and used French oak. Medium-bodied, elegant from start to the long finish and aftertaste.

Rich and chocolaty, with a dusting of bay leaf and herb, wet cement and Play-Doh, blackcurrant and blackberry. It’s silky and fruit sweet, combining regional leafiness and ripeness to good effect. Tannin is dusty and dry, with sweetness of raspberry and spice on a solid finish. Good stuff. Not the deepest, but accessible and easy to enjoy.

Ripe and velvety, with pristine layers of cassis and mulberry fruit, the 2017 Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is an immensely appealing wine for drinking over the next 5-6 years (possibly longer). It's full-bodied and plush yet tightens up enough on the finish, where it adds a more savory note of something akin to graphite or pencil shavings.

Since 2000, Brash have been growing grapes across their 18 hectares of Yallingup vines, with the bulk going to a host of premium Margaret River producers. They grow 135 tonnes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Shiraz, and Malbec annually. Most of the fruit goes to other premium Margaret River producers, with 10% of the yield going towards Brash VIneyard’s single vineyard cuvées. Co-owned by Chris and Anne Carter, Brian and Ann McGuinness, and Rik and Jenny Nitert, the wines themselves are made under the custodianship of Margaret River wine icon Bruce Dukes (of Domaine Naturaliste).
