Bruno Giacosa's Azienda Agricola Falletto Barolo comes entirely from the estate's south-west-facing amphitheatre in Serralunga d'Alba. These steep, iron-rich, calcareous clay soils yield Nebbiolo of exceptional density and structural longevity.
Traditional winemaking defines the estate. Fruit undergoes extended maceration in stainless steel before maturing for up to three years in large French oak casks. This low-intervention process preserves fruit purity while building precise structure.
Every release delivers aromas of red cherry, dried rose petal, liquorice, and crushed stone. The palate shows sour cherry, spice, and tar, supported by muscular, fine-grained tannins and driving acidity that ensure decades in the cellar.
