Caillard Shiraz in an elegant medium-bodied Barossa Shiraz, with dark berries, light peppery and floral elements, fine grained tannins and underlying savoury oak. The fruit is sourced from a single vineyard on the western edge of the Barossa Valley, which grows some mature colonial vine stock material, including the highly aromatic 19th Century Chateau Tahbilk selection. The wine is matured for 16 months in barrels. 2012 marks its first release.
