Elegant and complex, the Castell’in Villa Chianti Classico Riserva is abundant with dark cherry fruit, touched by light spice, tobacco, and that refreshing minerality. Savoury mushroom and earth notes, too. Tarry, plush tannins are balanced against a zing of acidity for a wine that is at once satisfying and refreshing.
