Chaffey Bros Wine Co Tripelpunkt Museum Release Riesling, Eden Valley

Tripelpunkt represents a focused study of Riesling from the elevated slopes of the Eden Valley. The fruit is sourced from three distinct vineyards situated on the region's rocky, mineral soils. These high-altitude sites benefit from cool nights, which preserve the natural acidity and aromatic profile of the grapes. The Museum Release designates a parcel held in the winery cellars to allow the wine to develop secondary characteristics through controlled bottle age.

Winemakers Daniel Chaffey Hartwig and Theo Engela utilise a period of skin contact before fermentation to build texture. The wine is fermented cool in stainless steel to maintain freshness and rests on its lees for several months. This technique adds weight to the mid-palate without the need for oak.
