Château Lagrange, Pomerol
This delightful drop is nothing but Merlot. Well-rounded, fruit-driven, and with a distinctive softness, Château Lagrange is slightly lighter than most Pomerol wines but remains brilliant nonetheless. The Merlot fruit is hand-picked within a few hours of ripening before thermo-controlled maceration and extraction take place. It is aged for up to 18 months on new French oak barrels. Mighty good in youth, this wine will continue to improve for 15 years.
