Château Tertre de la Mouleyre Grand Cru Saint-Émilion
Farmed organically and certified since 2001, the tiny 1.5ha Château Tertre de la Mouleyre is planted to 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc on Saint-Émilion's classic clay and limestone and produces, by Bordeaux standards, a minuscule 350 cases a year. Under Eric Jeanneteau who has run the family property since 1995, this still largely undiscovered gem is a medium-bodied and floral wine with fine tannins and lovely purity of fruit.
