Clarendon Hills is celebrated for its single-vineyard approach, where individual parcels are selected to express the distinct character of McLaren Vale. Domaine Clarendon BDX is a Bordeaux-style blend drawing on Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the Clarendon subregion. The fruit benefits from cool nights and long ripening, producing wines with structure and balance.

Winemaker Roman Bratasiuk employs traditional techniques, including open fermentation and basket pressing, followed by ageing in French oak barrels. This careful handling highlights the varietal integrity of each component before blending.

Each vintage offers aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and subtle herb notes. The palate is layered with dark fruits, cedar, and fine tannins, reflecting both the quality of the fruit and the precision of the winemaking.
