D.M.L Reserve Pinot Noir, crafted from select Mornington Peninsula fruit by the partnership of the D’Anna family, Sam Middleton (Mount Mary), and Jordan Lewis, is a single-site release sourced from a prized vineyard and matured for 16 months in French oak. The Reserve is a low-intervention wine from an exceptional vintage, entirely destemmed and fermented with a mix of wild and cultured yeast, then hand-plunged and bottled unfined. The result is a deeply expressive Pinot marked by plum, cranberry and strawberry, with notes of cedar, undergrowth and subtle spice, a taut mineral backbone, and a finish of supple, graphite-like tannin—garnering high praise, including 96 points from Campbell Mattinson (The Wine Front).?
