Domaine Bruno Clair 1er Cru Les Jarrons , Savigny-les-Beaune

Domaine Bruno Clair holds a rightful reputation as one of Burgundy's most consistent producers. Situated on east-facing, clay-limestone slope plots in the south of the appellation, the Premier Cru Les Jarrons vineyard yields Pinot Noir that bridges the gap between Côte de Beaune charm and Côte de Nuits structure.

Winemaking is traditional, measured and focused entirely on site expression. The grapes are partially whole-bunch fermented in open wooden vats before undergoing long maturation in French oak barrels, with only a light proportion of new oak. This approach preserves natural acidity, refines the fine-grained tannins and gives the wine impressive ageability.

Expect an expressive nose of dark cherry, wild raspberry and violet, underpinned by subtle notes of spice and crushed limestone. The palate is energetic, displaying bright red-fruit flavours, balanced mineral drive and a long finish. It is an outstanding example of Premier Cru Burgundy offering reliable quality and value.
