Domaine de Montille’s parcel in Premier Cru Les Pézerolles sits in the northern section of Pommard. Bordering Beaune, this vineyard enjoys limestone-rich soils that consistently yield a finer, more aromatic expression of Pinot Noir than the muscular, broad-shouldered reds typical of the broader appellation.

Ninth-generation winemaker Étienne de Montille approaches the site with a gentle hand. The winemaking blends a thoughtful proportion of whole clusters with modest new French oak, preserving fruit purity while building a silky, architectural frame meant to evolve over decades in the cellar.
