About this wine

DOMAINE FAIVELEY La Framboisiere Monopole, Mercurey Rouge

Domaine Faiveley Mercurey La Framboisière is a celebrated single-vineyard (monopole) Pinot Noir from Burgundy’s Côte Chalonnaise, specifically Mercurey. Owned exclusively by Domaine Faiveley since 1933, La Framboisière is renowned for its distinctive expression and historical significance.

The wine is celebrated for its intense, fruity bouquet featuring wild berries, raspberries, and redcurrants, often complemented by a subtle touch of oak and pleasant minerality. On the palate, it delivers a powerful yet silky mouthfeel, dominated by crunchy red fruits, velvety tannins, and exceptional length, making it both vibrant and pleasurable to drink. The structure is supple and medium to full-bodied, with a delicate balance and a lingering, fruit-driven finish. La Framboisière is consistently praised for its expressive fruit, finesse, and value, and is enjoyable both young and after several years of cellaring.
