Founded by the late Domaine de la Romanée-Conti co-owner Henry-Frédéric Roch, Domaine Prieuré Roch holds a legendary position in the Côte de Nuits. The 0.62-hectare parcel of Les Hautes Maizières sits mid-slope in Vosne-Romanée, directly beneath the acclaimed Premier Cru Les Suchots.
Winemaking follows strict organic and natural principles, guided by low yields and whole-bunch fermentation using native yeasts. Cellar intervention remains minimal; the wine is aged in neutral French oak before being bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve the site's raw expression.
The nose opens with wild strawberry, dark cherry, dried rose petal and subtle Asian spice. The palate delivers pure red fruit alongside dynamic mineral acidity and fine, velvety tannins.
