Domaine Prieuré Roch draws this bottling from old vines within the monopole Clos des Varoilles in Gevrey-Chambertin. Near the Combe Lavaux, cooler airflow tempers the region's usual heft, giving the site a distinct microclimate that consistently balances concentration with lift.

Winemaking follows the house ethos: organic farming, whole-bunch fermentations using natural yeasts, and zero added sulphur until minimal bottling additions. Maturation takes place in oak barrels, resulting in an unmanipulated expression of the old vines and terroir.

The nose delivers dark cherries, wild rose, orange peel, black tea, and a distinctive earthy underbrush.
