Egly-Ouriet 1er Cru Les Vignes de Bisseuil is a distinctive, Chardonnay-led Champagne from a 1.5-hectare plot in the Premier Cru village of Bisseuil, just east of Aÿ. The blend is 70% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir, and 15% Meunier, sourced from 40-year-old vines farmed organically and vinified entirely in barrel with indigenous yeasts. The wine spends four years on lees before disgorgement, with a very low dosage (1–2 g/L), and is bottled unfined and unfiltered.
