Elegant and textural, the Felton Road Bannockburn Chardonnay is sourced off three vineyards anchored on deep silt loam soils. The grapes are hand harvested, whole bunch pressed and the juice drained immediately to barrel by gravity with no settling. Wild yeast fermentation takes place in French oak of which a small percentage is new. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation with extended lees contact and battonage over 12 months contributing additional richness and complexity.
