FETHERSTON Estate Pinot Noir, Yarra Valley

At Fetherston, the ‘Estate’ range represents the pinnacle of Chris Lawrence and Camille Koll’s production in the Yarra Valley. Winemaking involves hand-picking and fermenting the fruit in three separate batches, including a 5% whole-bunch component to add structural interest. The wine was matured for eight months in French oak—with a modest 4% new wood—allowing the fruit to remain the focus.
