Expert Review
Dave Brookes
A blend of shiraz from the Barossa and Eden valleys aged in new and seasoned French and American oak for 18 months. Bright ripe plum fruits with underlying hints of baking spices, Cherry Ripe, purple flowers, earth, smoked meats, cedar and dark chocolate. There is some nice mineral crunch to the plum and berry fruits on the palate, a woosh of oak spice and pressed flowers, light sandy tannin and a bright, medium-length finish.

Huon Hooke
Deep, dark red-purple hue; there are strong earthy, terracotta and brick dust aromas, coupled with brown spices and a hint of mint, the palate full and round, fruit-sweet at the core and supple in its tannins. There's good concentration and fleshy mouth-feel, drive and texture aplenty with plenty of character. Smart shiraz.
