Giuseppe Mascarello e Figlio has been at the heart of Piedmont since the mid-19th century, with vineyards that capture the essence of their individual sites. From the Santo Stefano di Perno vineyard in Monforte d’Alba, this Dolcetto reflects the family’s focus on precision and authenticity. The vines grow on limestone and clay soils at high altitudes, yielding naturally balanced fruit with a firm structure.

Winemaking follows a straightforward path: fermentation in cement and maturation in stainless steel, ensuring the grape’s character is expressed without oak influence. Every vintage, the wine displays lifted notes of dark cherry and plum on the nose, alongside a savoury edge characteristic of Dolcetto from this region. The palate is pure and direct, with crisp acidity and gentle tannins carrying notes of black fruits and subtle spice.
