About this wine
Graci Etna Rosso DOC
A more extractive expression from old bush vines sited between 600 and 700 metres, this is a mid to full-weighted wine that boasts a conflagrant scent of volcanic ash, macerated cherry, dried thyme and rose petal, careening along a buttress of edgy tannins, not dissimilar to a good Langhe.

James Suckling
A pretty nose of roses, strawberries and garden herbs. Full-bodied with fine tannins and very precise intensity. Fruity. There’s a steely undertone here. Lovely. Drink or hold.
93 points, James Suckling.

Nerello Mascalese. Lots of depth and chewy, sweet ‘volcanic’ character. Really textured.

The 2020 is the total package when it comes to “entry-level” Etna Rosso. Its bouquet is remarkably pretty, yet also deep and vibrant, with masses of crushed red berries and rose tones excited by a minty freshness. The textures are silky and pliant, matched by medium-bodied weight, delivering a bright mix of ripe strawberries and sweet spices. All the while, a core of juicy acidity maintains marvelous freshness, even as a subtle coating of grippy tannins linger through the well-framed finale. Bravo, Alberto Graci.
92 points, Eric Guido, Vinous.
