Named for the old strawberry patch cultivated over generations nearby, this vineyard sits at an elevation of 265 metres on a limestone ridge in iron-rich loam over deep brown clay.Â
"Gorgeously rich and fabulously aromatic, the wine shows black and purple fruit intensity, toasted spice, cedar and dark cocoa notes on the nose, leading to a sumptuous palate that's concentrated and plush. Wonderfully framed by layers of fine tannins, it's sturdy and structured with seamless flow and a persistent, sophisticated finish.Â
