Houghton Swan Valley
Established in 1836, Houghton is a large Western Australian wine company based in the Swan Valley with extensive vineyard holdings in WA. The pioneering Jack Mann began his apprenticeship in 1922 and became the driving force behind the company for an astounding 51 consecutive vintages. After a series of corporate take-overs and acquisitions, Houghton is now part of the huge Accolade Wines group. The brand is is best known for its popular Houghton White Burgundy (now called Houghton White Classic) and its flagship premium wine the Jack Mann Cabernet blend.
