Julie Fèvre’s Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre comes from the family’s holdings in one of Chablis’ most prized right-bank premier crus, on classic Kimmeridgian limestone that gives drive and definition rather than richness. Working within her parents’ organically farmed Nathalie & Gilles Fèvre estate, Julie vinifies this Chardonnay with gentle pressing and a mix of stainless steel and older barrel, building texture while keeping the line clean and mineral. The result is a focused, saline Chablis with citrus, white-flower and stone notes, a firm chalky spine and good mid-palate weight, with recent vintages drawing around 90–94-point reviews and praised for their freshness, length and value in serious premier cru Chablis.
