This six-pack pairs distinct expressions of Australian Shiraz from the 2021 vintage. The Altera Terra Shiraz, crafted by winemaker Doug Neal, is a multi-regional blend of McLaren Vale and Murrumbateman fruit, completed with a 3% whole-bunch addition of Macedon Ranges Pinot Noir. Neal utilises imported French oak barrels to shape texture. It sits alongside the 2021 Swinney Farvie Syrah from Frankland River, made by Rob Mann. Sourced from gravelly ironstone soils, the fruit undergoes wild fermentation with 58% whole bunches in French oak vats before basket pressing, offering structural definition and cellaring potential.
