About this wine
LANGTONS AR Lenoble and Henriot Champagne Mix 6 Pack
For some, Champagne is just for celebrating. For others, Champagne is for life. We are firmly in the latter category. Our latest 6-pack offer brings together two Maisons from Champagne, one grower and one grande marque.
In this 6-bottle pack, you will find
4 x AR Lenoble Intense Mag18, Champagne NV (RRP $70)
2 x Henriot Champagne NV (1 x Blanc de Blancs, 1 x Rosé - RRP $275)
AR Lenoble is our most popular Champagne. 100% family-owned, 100% independent, this grower house is over 100 years old. The AR Lenoble Intense Mag18, Champagne NV (RRP $70) is bursting with freshness. The '18' signifies the vintage of the base wine, while 'Mag' nods to how they store the wine. AR Lenoble believes freshness is paramount, so they age their Champagne in magnums where the ageing is slower, and the pressure is slightly higher than in bottles. This undertaking preserves the freshness while the wine matures. This best-of-both-worlds Champagne is welcome on any occasion.
We have taken two bottles of AR Lenoble and upgraded them to Henriot Champagne NV (1 x Blanc de Blancs, 1 x Rosé - RRP $275). This Henriot gift pack duo features a bottle of the storied Maison. The 8th generation Champagne house, established in 1808 by Madame Apolline Henriot, has been family-owned since day one. Henriot is known for Champagne, which is rich, sophisticated and expressive. Cellarmaster Alice Tétienne (of Krug fame) now bears the torch with a finely honed understanding of the great terroirs which go into each glorious bottle.
Save over 36% on this 6-bottle pack. This is a saving of over $200, that means the Blanc de Blancs are on us. Now that is something to celebrate.

Huon Hooke
Light straw colour, toasty developed bouquet, very Champagne-like, creamy, slightly honeyed. But it's also very complex for its station, revealing a big proportion of aged reserve wines. Quite high acidity, which refreshes the palate and balances out the dosage liqueur. Clean, dry finish. Very good length and balance. A very smart wine. (2014 base vintage; 40% reserve wines, 4-5 years on lees)

20% Chardonnay de Chouilly Grand Cru 35% Pinot Noir from Bisseuil Premier Cru; 45% Pinot Meunier from Damery, in the Vallée de la Marne. The base wine is 2018 while the 40% reserve material is derived from a perpetual solera that has been raised on lees, in magnum. Thus the name. The dosage, on the lower side of Extra Brut (2g/L). A richer and broad style exhibiting ample autolytic depth evocative of truffle, maple, cinnamon and white peach, with a skein of chalky, gingery freshness towing impressive length. A wine with a winning generosity, belying its uncanny dryness. A wine for those seeking toasty, more bumptious expressions, as m much as those in love with the febrile, drier, contemporary styles

A rich and flavorful Blanc de Blancs with grilled pineapple, lemon curd, toasted sourdough, chalk, puffed rice and hints of balsamic on the nose. It’s medium-bodied with silky bubbles and fresh acidity. Delicious spice notes at the end. Chardonnay. 2015 base vintage with 35% reserve wines. 6g/l dosage. Disgorged May 2019. Drink now or hold.
