This pack offers a superb selection of South Australian shiraz, featuring expressions from two of the state’s finest regions: Barossa and McLaren Vale. Start with four bottles of the Pertaringa Yeoman Shiraz from Bec Hardy Wines. A bold and generous shiraz made by the Hardy family's first female vigneron, from vines thought to be over 140 years old. Wine Pilot has called this “a cracking McLaren Vale Shiraz with an immense future.”

Wine Pilot
Yeoman Shiraz: A dark maroon, this is big, bold and generous. The aromas weave through chocolate, warm earth, bay leaves, cocoa powder, coffee grinds, cassis, plums and dry herbs. There is serious intensity here, fine acidity and impressive length. With ultra-ripe tannins, the wine just lingers, long after the last sip. A cracking McLaren Vale Shiraz with an immense future, fifteen to twenty years for the patient.

2018 Grant Burge Meshach
Deep crimson. Classic blackberry, dark chocolate aromas with hints of liquorice/ herb garden. Generously proportioned with dense blackberry, black cherry flavours, plentiful ripe chocolaty tannins, very good mid-palate density and underlying mocha, roasted chestnut notes. Finishes gravelly firm with inky, chinotto, mineral notes. Very well balanced wine with the richness, concentration and power for long term aging. Best to cellar for some years although drinking well already.
