This twelve bottle collection highlights four regional expressions of Australian Chardonnay, selected for cellaring potential and value. Oakridge winemaker David Bicknell selects fruit from the Henk Vineyard in the Yarra Valley, utilising wild yeast fermentation in French oak. Patrick Sullivan sources fruit from the soils of the Limestone Coast, while Josef Chromy provides a cool-climate Tasmanian expression from Relbia. Geoff Merrill completes the pack with a reserve release from McLaren Vale, characterised by barrel fermentation and extended lees maturation. Together, these selections demonstrate site-driven viticulture and diverse production techniques.
