Turon is a small Adelaide Hills producer focused on site-expressive wines made with precision and care. Founded by Turon White, formerly of Shaw + Smith and Deviation Road, the label quickly gained attention for its clear, varietal expression and restraint. Fruit is sourced from high-elevation vineyards around Lenswood and Piccadilly, with a focus on low-intervention winemaking: hand-harvested grapes, wild fermentations, minimal new oak and no fining or filtration. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir lead the range, shaped by cool-climate sites and a steady, hands-off approach. Production remains limited, with growing interest from collectors and sommeliers both in Australia and abroad.
