Isabel Estate is a long-established Marlborough pioneer, its Chardonnay drawn from mature vines in the Wairau Valley and handled with small-batch, barrel-ferment focus for tension, stone-fruit flavour and a whisper of gunflint. Domaine Michelot, meanwhile, is a six-generation Meursault estate whose Bourgogne Blanc 2022 spends around a year in mostly seasoned oak, giving a fine, mineral Burgundy with citrus, white peach and gentle nutty complexity.
