The wine is all smooth opulence, concentration, and power, with dark chocolate-dipped black fruit, spice, and a lick of fresh bay leaf. We’re coming into the cooler months when slow-roasted shoulder of lamb is back on the menu. This is a wine you will want to pour again and again; it is pure liquid nostalgia.
