Yarra Yering Agincourt + Bonus 375mL Dry Red No.1
This Agincourt shows classic Cabernet notes of cassis and dark fruits and berries, along with a characteristic leafy herbaceousness. The Malbec gives the wine a plummy, dark cherry roundness and, of course, more tannin. The 1st Classified Dry Red No.1 has a rich historical tapestry that weaves through the heart of the Yarra Valley. Established by the visionary Dr. Bailey Carrodus in 1969, this vineyard quickly became a viticultural icon. Carrodus, a true pioneer, hand-planted the vineyards and employed Bordeaux varieties, giving birth to a Victorian claret style.
