Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée, Champagne

Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée draws its character from a core of high-grade fruit sourced across more than 100 distinguished Champagne villages. Unusually for a non-vintage House blend, Chardonnay makes up over 50 per cent of the blend. The family-owned estate selects exclusively from the primary press, or cuvée, extracting only the purest juice to form the wine's spine.

Crafted in stainless steel to preserve pristine freshness, the wine incorporates 15 to 30 per cent reserve stock from preceding harvests to guarantee house consistency year after year. Pinot Noir and Meunier round out the structure, while four years of cellar maturation on lees, well past the region's minimum requirement, imparts a fine, integrated mousse and depth.

Every release presents a brilliant pale gold. The nose gives off citrus, white flowers, and peach. On the palate, expect crisp green apple, subtle brioche complexity, and a long, dry, refreshing finish.
