Moët & Chandon Collection Impériale Création N°1 was created by Chef de Cave Benoît Gouez to celebrate Moët’s 280th anniversary. Made from, approximately, 40% pinot noir, 40% chardonnay, and 20% pinot meunier, Collection Impériale Création N°1 is at once a classic house blend and like nothing else in their rich history.
Collection Impériale Création N°1 is a blend of seven vintages, across three ageing methods, matured for eight years with zero dosage. The vintages include: 2000, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2013. The cuvee was created in 2014 and disgorged in 2022. Ageing methods include stainless steel tank (2013), large oak foudres (2000, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012), and magnums aged on lees for 10 years (2004)
