Low-cropping vineyards, hand picking, whole bunch pressing, oxidative handling, natural yeasts, high solids, warm ferments and maturation in oak puncheons result in a wine of superb white peach and flinty aromatics, fine, chalky yet supple textures, and a precise line of purity.

The fruit is sourced from both owned and independent grower vineyards. David and his team are renowned for producing exceptional single vineyard wines made with minimal intervention, and in using innovative and sustainable practices in winemaking and viticulture. The wines are beautifully made and illustrate the idea that winemaker’s intuition and skill are completely intertwined with the idea of distinguished vineyard site. The Reserve style wines, labelled 864 and released in top vintages, are outstanding and comprise a Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
