About this wine

Paringa Estate Estate Pinot Gris Mornington Peninsula

The fruit for the Estate Pinot Gris is sourced from low yielding estate vineyards, some of which are over thirty years old. Constant attention to detail in the vineyard and vine maturity produces fruit of outstanding quality.

This is, according to the winery a ‘Gris’ with personality. Paringa backs that claim up with a wine that has bright fruit flavours but also a textured palate. Two-thirds of the juice is fermented in tank at low temperatures to promote the aromas and fresh fruit flavours to develop. The balance of the juice is fermented in barrel with wild yeast, imbuing the wine with texture, complexity and note of seriousness.
