Expert Review
Campbell Mattinson
Seamless, substantial, thick with beefy. Cassis-like flavour too and signs (already) of a consummated marriage between oak and dark, grape–derived flavour. Excellent tannin and, indeed, even as a young wine, a feeling of completeness. This could be really something. Big, young-ish Barossan shiraz doesn’t come much more impressive.

James Halliday
Bright colour; dark and tarry on the surface, the bouquet reveals a vibrant, pure and poised core of black fruit interlaced with well-handled oak; the palate is dense and chewy, but shows a deft hand of balance between the elements of fruit, tannin, acid and the slight savoury complexity; very long and quite tannic, time will treat this wine with kindness.
