Pierre Péters Cuvee de Reserve Blanc de Blancs, Champagne

Based in the Grand Cru village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, sixth-generation winemaker Rodolphe Péters crafts this high-regarded grower Champagne. The fruit is sourced entirely from estate-owned, Grand Cru Chardonnay vineyards across the Côte des Blancs, ensuring consistent access to some of the region's most prized limestone soils.

In the cellar, Péters utilises a perpetual reserve system started in the late 1990s, blending equal parts of the current harvest with reserve wines spanning over twenty years. Fermentation occurs in small, temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to protect fruit clarity, while the reserve components are aged in a mix of large oak foudres, concrete, and stainless steel to build depth before extended lees ageing.

Every release delivers a focused nose of fresh lemon, white flowers, and crushed stone. The palate is defined by its brisk, chalky acidity, balanced by flavours of crisp green apple, blanched almond, and a distinct, savoury salinity on the finish.
