ABOUT THE WINERY
Pierro
The Pierro Vineyard, at "Willyabrup" and a play on Peterkin's surname, is one of the loveliest vineyards in Margaret River. It is tended with extreme care and while not officially organic, low input principals apply. Owner-winemaker Mike Peterkin was preaching sustainability and equilibrium long before it became fashionable. Best known for its highly prized Pierro Chardonnay, Pierro also produces a Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blend, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Merlot blend.
