Roberto Voerzio is renowned for extreme viticulture in La Morra, where he maintains some of the lowest yields in Barolo. This five-bottle collection showcases four distinct crus from the 2017 vintage: Cerequio, La Serra, Fossati and Brunate. The set is completed by the 2011 Case Nere Riserva 10 Anni. These wines originate from high-density plantings on limestone and clay marl, reflecting the unique geological signatures of each specific plot.

Winemaking involves strict selection and minimal intervention. Voerzio uses short fermentations in stainless steel followed by ageing in a combination of barriques and larger oak casks. He avoids fining or filtration to maintain the purity of the Nebbiolo grape. The result is a series of wines with immense concentration and structural integrity, built for long-term cellaring.

The aromatics across the collection include dark cherry, liquorice, violet and balsamic notes.
