San Felice produces Campogiovanni from a twenty-hectare estate situated on the southwestern slopes of Montalcino. This location is characterised by its exposure to the sea breeze and a soil profile of silt, sand and clay. The vineyard produces Sangiovese Grosso, focusing on consistency and concentration. The winemaking process involves a 20-day maceration in stainless-steel tanks to extract colour and tannins. Following fermentation, the wine matures for thirty-six months in large Slavonian oak casks. This maturation period allows the wine to develop complexity and stability before it undergoes final refinement in the bottle for twelve months prior to release.
