Societe Civile du Chateau Lafleur Les Perrieres, Bordeaux Supérieur

Château Grand Village Bordeaux Supérieur is the Guinaudeau family's original estate in Mouillac, just beyond Fronsac. The same team behind Pomerol's Château Lafleur crafts this wine, applying their expertise to this Right Bank vineyard. The estate spans 14.25 hectares of clay-limestone soils, planted predominantly with Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

Winemaking here combines traditional methods with modern techniques. Grapes are hand-harvested and sorted before fermentation in contemporary tanks—the wine then ages in new oak barrels, enhancing its structure and flavour.

Each vintage offers a consistent profile: aromatic notes of violets, plums, and red currants on the nose, leading to a palate of cassis, blueberry, and raspberry, balanced by refreshing acidity. The 2019 vintage, for instance, exhibits preserved plums and blueberry compote with hints of wild sage and unsmoked cigars, culminating in a bright, fruity finish.
