About this wine

Taittinger Millésimé Brut, Champagne

Champagne Taittinger Millésimé Brut is drawn exclusively from first-press juice sourced from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards across the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. The House produces this expression only in years when climate and harvest yield exceptional balance, capturing the distinct identity

of a single harvest.

The blend relies on equal proportions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Vinified in stainless steel to retain purity and precision, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation before spending over five years on lees in the ancient chalk cellars of Reims. This extended cellaring builds structure and refined effervescence without heavy oak contact.

The nose opens with hawthorn blossom, pear, white peach, and faint notes of fresh brioche. On the palate, a crisp citrus entry gives way to stone fruit, honey, and toasted almond, supported by a chalky mineral backbone and a dry, persistent finish.

ABOUT THE WINERY
Taittinger
Taittinger is a family owned Champagne house founded in 1734 and based in Reims. The Taittinger family operated the house during the wars in Europe until 2005 when it was sold in by the Taittinger family to the U.S. hotel group Starwood. This was not a positive move for the house and after just one year the Crédit Agricole, in collaboration with Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger, bought the business back to family control. Today Taittinger has a vineyard area of 290 ha. Once again in family hands it continues to build upon its reputation for producing fine Champagne n most notably with its two most famous Champagnes the prestige cuvée Comtes de Champagne (Blanc de Blancs) and Comtes de Champagne Rosé
